Photo Scavenger Hunt

FHE 10.22.12
We got in groups and had about 40 minutes to race around town taking pictures of various things on the list including: eating donuts with a cop, picking a pumpkin, pumping gas for a stranger, doing handstands, under a picnic table, doing ballet poses, playing a musical instrument, doing a Chinese Fire Drill, hiding in a cemetery, speed limit sign, hanging from a basketball hoop, etc.

Hopefully more pictures get sent in, but here are some: being stuffed into a trashcan, picking a pumpkin, and sitting on a statue!

Kick ball!

Kickball was the activity of choice this week! We had a wonderful time as we got our game on--and picked thorns out of our shoes! We enjoyed ice cream and watermelon as well as lots of laughs...Somehow Mike ended up on the ground!

All A "board!"

We definitely weren't bored this week! We filled our beautiful Monday evening with laughter, food and lots of board games! The area was filled with friendly competition and lots of radiating smiles! Even the simplest of things can bring joy to many!

Splish Splash!

We had a wonderful time at this weeks Stake swim party! It was hard to find people in the ward, but I found a few! We had a shivering good time! :) Nothing like a chilly storm to liven up a swimming party! :)

Sizzle Sizzle

For FHE this week we had a blast eating BBQ and playing volleyball! Most of us definitely aren't pros, but nonetheless is makes for some entertaining photos! :)

Man your stations!

This week's Family Home Evening was full of summer heat and delicious treats! We played a game of water balloon Battleship that turned into quite the war. We finished off the day by eating otter-pops, playing games, and chatting up a storm!

The Canyon Games! 6.18.12

This weeks FHE was full of food and fun! We headed up the canyon to play ultimate frisbee and catch! We enjoyed pizza, pop and running around--as well as the delightful company of our fellow ward members!

Movie Night 6.11.12!

This weeks FHE was "A ball"! :) We enjoyed each others company watching The all time favorite and highly esteemed: Sandlot! We ate a plethora of food including: s'mores, popcorn and kool-aid jammers! Walked out feeling like the Beast.

FHE 6.4.12

This week for FHE we played Family Feud! It was a healthy dose of competition mixed with a little spiritual love! It was a great time and we were blessed with the opportunity to meet new people and eat some delicious fruit!

Rodeo!

June 2nd, 2012 

 

As a ward we went to the local Art City Days rodeo, and what a kickin' time! We enjoyed some top-notch entertainment(autographs included), danced to the YMCA, were surrounded by country gents, and enjoyed each others company in the beautiful sun!
